The Massachusetts Addiction Prevention Alliance has convened a consortium of researchers to conduct analysis of the scientific literature that will inform and strengthen primary prevention advocacy efforts in Massachusetts. The objective is to improve drug laws, controls and regulation so they prioritize public health and safety. Educating and advocating for sound public health policies requires deep understanding of the science and remains essential work in preventing substance misuse and addiction.

The Consortium worked together for 6-months to put together this Statement of Concern regarding marijuana policy and regulation in the Commonwealth.
